Here are just a couple of interesting reviews that we picked out from verified customers:

Very nice indeed. by Kang, 29 December 2013, 22 out of 27 people found this review helpful I don’t normally write reviews but couldn’t find any reviews when I was buying these so I feel it is my duty to write the worlds first review of the tech 3 x2. I don’t have a massive history of hydraulic breaks to compare these with but I have had Avid Juicys on a hard tail (which were rubbish) and bought these to replace some Shimano Br M395’s that were fitted to my new full susser. The Hopes have way more power than the other set ups I have had. Once I got them bedded in, and they do need bedding in, the stopping power was huge. Sharp to a point that it took a bit of getting used to. I have had three rides with them now, a very wet and muddy turn round my local woods, a flat cross country run and a session in a trail centre and it was at the trail centre that the Hopes really shone. Chuffed to bits. The build quality is excellent and they look the nuts. My only small complaints are that the bite point adjuster does not seem to have a huge effect and they aren’t all that light, only 70g lighter than the bottom of the range Shimanos that they replaced. But apart from that I love them and plan to have them on my rig for years to come. All I have to do now is save up for some bling Hope floating rotors to go with them. Pros: build quality feel power. Cons: nothing really. I found this review helpful I did not find this review helpful

First Choice by Jado, 6 February 2015, 7 out of 7 people found this review helpful I have had my X2’s on two previous bikes, purchased in Mid 2013. I just purchased a top of the range carbon trail/all mountain mountain bike and the first thing i did was take off the XT brakes and fit my beloved Hope X2’s. Not that the XT’s are a bad brakes, they are very close on performance as most would know, but the X2’s are made to a standard that leave Shimano’s behind. The feel of the lever is the biggest difference, Hope brakes have a brilliant modulation. So will they go to the next bike? you bet ya! Or if they are worse for wear, new X2’s will be my first choice! Pros: just brilliantly made and perform flawlessly Cons: none only possible con could be the cost I found this review helpful I did not find this review helpful
