However, you need unconventional 4.5mm ferrules (standard for gear line is 4mm) and the jagwire part is far too expensive to the point where buying both is still more costly than other top makes. Do not be tempted into using 5mm ferules. Check the length sent. Great pre-lubed housing by , 3 June 2017, 1 out of 1 people found this review helpful Titanium color is nice for vintage rides. Matches perfectly with Jagwire CGX brake housing in the same color. One minor inconvenience is that end caps that usually come with derailleurs and shifters are 4mm. 4.5mm ferrules are available (see Q&A), but I just used a 5mm one. Not ideal since it doesn’t seal as well against dirt. Pros: convenience of pre-lube Cons: standard 4mm ferrules don’t fit I found this review helpful I did not find this review helpful
