No improvement over Shimano hose by DaVinci, 14 June 2018 I had to replace my Shimano BH59 hydraulic hose on my Ultegra BR-RS785. I though the Jagwire would be an improvement. I was wrong! They are more expensive, more stiff, harder too route inside the frame and, the most frustrating, offer absolutely zero improvement over the Shimano original hose. The only good thing is the Jagwire Stealth Black Matte color, IMO looks way better then the glossy Shimano hose. But other then that, Jagwire hoses are a real waste of money. Pros: stealth black matte color Cons: expensive stiff more difficult for internal routing (stiffness) no improvement over shimano oem hose I found this review helpful I did not find this review helpful
