Won’t fit all drivers. by number1, 3 July 2016, 4 out of 5 people found this review helpful The crew I ride with was sick of weak, stretchy, and dangerous regular chains so we bought a bunch of these to try. This chain is wide so it won’t fit hubs with narrow drivers like G-sport ratchet. The chain will not fit some drivers because the bottoms of the side plates touch the sides of the driver before the chain’s rollers touch the bottom of the driver’s teeth. Carefully grinding down the bottom of each side plate just a bit solved that problem. Another problem is with very worn driver and sprocket teeth that are a bit “hooked”. A little careful filing and Dremel tool work will fix that too. This chain has larger rollers and this will make it effectively shorter on your bike than a regular chain and with no half-link option you may need a different sprocket (one tooth larger or smaller) to position your wheel similar to where it is with your regular chain. Some drive-side hub guards may not work or will need to be modified. A G-sport uni-guard will work with a bit of grinding/filing. Before you buy compare your hub with a G-sport ratchet (Google image?) and if your driver does look wider consider that you may still have to modify. If you have a new anti-gram or z-coaster don’t hesitate it will fit perfectly. Considering all of that it is still a great chain and I recommend it if you have access to a few tools. This chain does not stretch at all so it won’t wear out sprocket teeth nearly as fast, it will take a severe beating and the piece of mind knowing that it won’t snap or derail on me is priceless. I have used many different chains,regular and half-link, but this thing is in a whole other league. Now I worry about hurting the ledges and rails not my chain. Pros: super strong no stretch Cons: may need to modify may not be compatible I found this review helpful I did not find this review helpful
