Loud squealing not solved by toe-in adjustment by ClifforS, 29 July 2017, 1 out of 1 people found this review helpful I wanted to purchase the Lifeline cartridge holder pads that I have used before and rate highly, but they have sadly been discontinued, so I purchased these instead. Very disappointed. On the front wheel they squealed loudly on braking and all the usual solutions failed. Changed for un-branded Fibrax OEM cartridge holders from an eBay retailer (which appear to be identical to the discontinued Lifeline ones) – completely silent! They also have too tight a curve making them a poor fit on the 700c wheels I used them on. With the centre of the pad at the top edge of the rim, the ends were running off the bottom edge. The value Lifeline range seems to be getting smaller generally, and now dropping in quality too. A shame IMO. I found this review helpful I did not find this review helpful
