Low grade materials but you get what you pay for! by TheProf, 14 May 2018 The aluminium on this product is of such poor quality that the bolt holes and bolt heads deformed when fitting. This was despite properly greasing the bolts, tightening them with care in the correct order with a calibrated high quality (Teng tools) low reading torque wrench. As a result I was not happy that the bars were clamped safely and gave up, using a traditional stem face plate and bar mount for my Garmin. Unless this was just from a bad batch, IÛªd suggest you avoid this product. Pros: cheap Cons: cheap I found this review helpful I did not find this review helpful
Disadvantage for aerodynamics by JillQueues, 2 April 2018 The construction and materials used are good, however, you cannot attach it to the lower screws of the stem, and unless you’re using an extreme 17å¼ negative angle stem, it’s going to poke up and make the garmin mount be a lot less aerodynamic. Disappointing, will probably not use this in the future. Pros: cheap Cons: not aerodynamic I found this review helpful I did not find this review helpful
