Does the job by MLST, 25 April 2014, 7 out of 8 people found this review helpful I have bought these for the last 8 set of forks i’ve owned. I will never get over the one time I didn’t have these on my old bike a rock chipped the stanchion on my DT Swiss 150 forks. Providing you take these off regularly and clean them, making sure no dust or grit has worked its way in your forks will be protected against the crud and chips. I know people say these are not needed but if your stanchions chip from a flying rock you’ll regret not having them for sake of a tenner. I think å£10 is a good price to protect you fork but then on the other hand this is å£10 for a bit of neoprene which is very expensive really. They do start to fray at the top and go a little baggy after a while, and they are a little tight to fit on my Fox 34 kashimas. Overall I would recommend them to anyone, wish they did one for dropper posts, I found this review helpful I did not find this review helpful

They do the job + look good by Jan1, 24 October 2013, 7 out of 8 people found this review helpful I ruined my previous fork with repeated gravel impacts on the upper stanchions. I’ve learnt my lesson the expensive way. Now I’ve got these fitted to my DT Swiss fork, and have no such problem. Worth noticing the fork is 130 mm travel, and the fork boots seem to fit just fine. I had to stretch them a little to put them on, and they slide down a little when I abuse the fork like it’s meant to be, but that only leaves 1/2 cm of the top upper stanchions exposed. So I’m not sure where this 100mm maximum travel thing comes from. In my experience they work just fine for greater travel. Pros: do what they’re meant to do Cons: they’re a pain to install I found this review helpful I did not find this review helpful
