Here are just a couple of interesting reviews that we picked out from verified customers:
Excellent tyre! by TeamMatt, 10 June 2015, 8 out of 8 people found this review helpful I’m not going to lie but one of the main reasons I purchased these was because they were green! Once they were on the finished the look of my Cannondale superbly ( if I could post a picture I would ). After riding them I couldn’t believe the difference. I have Cosmic SLS wheels which came with Mavic tyres on and the difference was very noticeable. The wheels now “sing” even louder when at speed and I do feel as though the tyres are faster and more responsive then my last. Will be buying these again ( although hopefully not too soon ) and I may even put them on my Fixie!! Pros: green wiggo! Cons: armstrong – bad times I found this review helpful I did not find this review helpful
Durable, but a little slower by Sailmeister, 7 October 2015, 8 out of 11 people found this review helpful I ran a set of Pro 4V1 Service Course tires for just over 2100 miles before I got my first flat. That’s not too bad. In comparison to the Continental GP4000s2’s I’d been running, these tires are definitely tougher over road debris but as I mentioned a little slower. I would estimate the drop in pace between .5 to 1 mph for 25-50 mile rides. I measured the widths of these tires inflated on Mavic Ksyrium Elite rims, and the first set measured at 23.54 mm on the rear wheel and 23.87 moon the front wheel. The markings on this “version 1” set were 2114 B.01 T.01 on both. I measured the widths on the second “Version 2” set and they were 22.76 front and 23.29 on the back. These tires had different markings. Front was 1415 B.20, T.20 and the rear was 1415 B.03, T.03. not sure what any of those means but I suspect they are mfg codes. Measurements were made with a caliper by taking three readings equally spaced around the rim, avoiding the valve stem area. This second set seems narrower than the first, which is different from what I’ve read elsewhere. I was expecting these tires to be a little faster, but with the narrower width, and corresponding smaller contact patch, that may not be the case. Pros: very tough very durable Cons: noticeabley slower than conti gp4000s2 I found this review helpful I did not find this review helpful
