Expensive and Incomplete by M4BoltGuy, 23 March 2017, 5 out of 7 people found this review helpful å£27 and no bolt! If you’re buying one of these then the chances are that yours has fallen off. If that’s the case then you’ll have lost your bolt as well. Despite the stupidly high price tag for what this is, unfortunately this spare part doesn’t come with a spare bolt. Now I’m left with the choice of a loose waiter bottle cage or a reliable chain device. Pros: your chain will stop falling off Cons: you have to buy a new bolt for it expensive for what it is I found this review helpful I did not find this review helpful

Good quality, but expensive and incomplete. by fooby, 18 November 2017, 1 out of 1 people found this review helpful After loosing this part on my MRP 1x guide, I grit my teeth and forked out the crazy money that this part costs. It’s a piece of plastic and really shouldn’t cost å£21.49. Not only that, but it’s incomplete. If you’re buying this, you’ve most likely lost the bolt as well. You can use a top cap bolt which most of us will have lying around, but really MRP should be including the mounting gear at this price. Usually the little part that this screws into that allows the guide to adjust to different size chainrings will remain attached to the guide, but if not, say goodbye to another å£8.99, bringing the total cost to å£30.48. This is ridiculous and also the cost of an entire brand new OneUp chainguide equivalent to the 1x. Only reason I didn’t buy the OneUp is because my frame has the ISCG OLD mounting points and to be fair to MRP, they’re one of the few companies not forcing new standards. Pros: it works Cons: stupidly overpriced no mounting gear I found this review helpful I did not find this review helpful
