Should have bought these at the start. by GetUpThatHill, 21 August 2017, 8 out of 9 people found this review helpful I wasn’t sure I wanted carbon bars on my latest build. I built a new Scout 27.5 and went for the alloy Warhead risers. They were good. I had the chance of an upgrade so went for these Carbon Risers. I kept the alloy Warhead stem and used a drop of MucOff Carbon Paste on the clamp. The ride is noticeably better. There’s a lot less vibration and the bigger knocks on the trail are reduced. Zero second thoughts by Tzak, 5 February 2018, 3 out of 3 people found this review helpful I have bought these bars in order to upgrade an alu handlebar. I need to ride 12km on tarmac in order to reach the local trails. The first thing I have noticed is that I do NOT feel the knobs of the front tyre (Magic Mary). The bars absorb these annoying vibration. On tarmac it is easier to understand the difference. On trails the feeling is a little “strange” : the front is softer but at the same time you know where your front wheel is. It is a contradiction but it really works. But the most important thing is that these bars are so good-looking. Finally at 102euros I think I have robbed CRC…. 😉 Pros: quality good looking anti-vibration Cons: a few grams (who cares??)
