Constantly wasting money swooping from thick to thin soft to hard etc. These just seem to tick all the boxes! Honestly haven’t changed or even thought about changing since I fitted them. My arm pump has decreased by at least 50% I feel I can ride properly again. Never realaised how important the contact point of your hands had on the effect of your riding style. That said, Nukeproof have put in a great effort with some very nice grips that stand out above the vast selection available. You can tell from using the grips they have been developed with feedback from riders on the trails. The softer compound used means they are very comfortable and more animated riders that pull and push on the bars a lot will find hand fatigue less of an issue. The intersecting multi directional grip pattern along with the sticky compound ensures no matter the angle you pull the bars, there is no hand slippage. As the compound is soft all the intersecting ridges do not create pressure points unlike some grips. Another nice feature is a flange covering the inside clamp. If things get funky on the trails and you move your hand inboard, you have a comfortable flange to grip instead of a metal clamp. The grip is wide at 143mm, so riders with shovels for hands will find them an ample size. If you do buy these grips, you will not be disappointed.
