Tried, Tested and Reviewed for you by CRC Customer Services by CRCReviews, 3 May 2016, 4 out of 4 people found this review helpful I previously used early versions of NukeproofÛªs grips so I was interested to try out the Sam Hill signature edition to see what improvements had been made over the past couple of years. The grips come in very simple packaging clearly showing Sam Hills endorsement. Once out of the bag they just away from the board and are ready to be fitted to your bike. Initial impressions were great, apart from the feel of overall quality I loved that the end cap was part of the clamp so it canÛªt Û÷go missingÛª and with the grip being clamped at both ends there is pretty much no chance of it moving when fitted. As the end cap is part of the clamp, it means the grip needs to be fitted in one position to keep the Sam Hill logo straight (for those who are particular about things like that!). For me this wasnÛªt a problem as the raised rubber for extra grip has been strategically placed to ensure that it will also be in the optimal position. As everyone knows the weather in Northern Ireland is never great so it didnÛªt take long to test these grips out in proper wet weather. The rubber compound is quite firm but there is ample grip and even tho they are quite thin at just over 30mm diameter there is still plenty of comfort. If you are looking for a lock-on grip which will do a great job for a reasonable price then you canÛªt look past the Nukeproof grips. I found this review helpful I did not find this review helpful
