The best trail bike/xc handlebar! by Chishay, 28 February 2017, 3 out of 3 people found this review helpful Bought this bar for my Canyon nerve and it transformed the bike. The longer width of the bar adds a lot more control combined with a short stem. Also, carbon fiber causes the bar to be way more stiff and results in precise handling of the front wheel so that it goes where you intend to point it while reducing trail vibrations. I feel like this is a perfectly versatile handlebar which could be used for a lot of different types of mountain-biking. I will not go back to aluminium handlebars after this upgrade! I really liked the Haven’s shape and suppleness, but wanted to go wider. The width is fantastic, I notice my turns are much smoother and I use my body to turn more so more controlled too. The shape is nice, the combination of 20mm up and 8 degree sweep is what I like. it is stiffer than the Haven – some reviews suggested it would be harsh, but I wouldn’t go that far, it’s certainly firm though. Set up with the Atlas 35 stem it looks boss. Pros: shape quality width weight Cons: may be too firm for some I found this review helpful I did not find this review helpful
