Quality product but… by deejaybee, 5 November 2016, 2 out of 2 people found this review helpful The Ritchey Classic stem is well made and looks the part on my Genesis Equilibrium 20 however when attaching it one of the hex bolts rounded itself despite using a torque wrench at a setting below the max 5NM and a brand new, correct sized hex socket. Removal was very tricky. Disappointed in this respect as stem was not cheap and came from a reputable firm. Pros: well made looks stunning Cons: hex bolts rounded I found this review helpful I did not find this review helpful
Excellent by Pablito68, 5 October 2016, 1 out of 1 people found this review helpful Works great, no bar slippage, I torqued all bolts with the same torque wrench setting. The logo on the stem looks to be laser engraved and so is a cosmetic improvement over older models. Very pleased overall. Note, bolts come with blue loctite equivalent paste, so installation is relatively easy. I found this review helpful I did not find this review helpful
Ritchey Classic Stem – other options
