Awesome feeling shock by ollied1982, 19 August 2017, 2 out of 3 people found this review helpful Replaced the Vivid Coil with this and it is an amazing upgrade. Always had coil shocks and I’ve never ridden an air shock on a long travel bike before but, this shock has certainly converted me. It felt plush and smooth straight out of the box, applied the same settings I had on the Vivid Coil and rode my usual spots, this instantly felt better. Silky Smooth, progressive and not once bottomed out, or worried me that it would! This shock saved 610g as a direct swap on my bike too, and that is always a bonus! Pros: lighter easy to tune rock shox ! get a free seal kit with it Cons: å£å£å£ I found this review helpful I did not find this review helpful

Great shock by Emil87, 13 January 2017, 11 out of 11 people found this review helpful Had some friends tell me they didn’t like air shocks for downhill, but I went for it anyways. Fitted it on a commencal supreme v3. Just the ease of setting up the shock with perfect sag was worth the price. My DH bike has never felt better, and I was hooked after just a few rides. You’d probably get similar performance with a spring shock, but I always end up just sticking with the springs I have, and they’re often either too stiff or too loose. I will never run spring shocks on my DH bike ever again… You might want to check with your bike manufacturer what factory set compression setting you should have on a Vivid air before ordering the shock. Pros: get the perfect set up lighter weight looks cool 🙂 Cons: none yet I found this review helpful I did not find this review helpful
