Feels like a quality item, but… by edthedog, 26 March 2018 I tried a Rotor BB to try and outlast the standard Shimano unit on my Yeti. They feel like good quality, fit snugly and spin smoothly. However, the bearings are now shot after about 3 months. Sealing is clearly not great, and they can’t be regreased without pulling them to bits to get the seals off. I’ve cut my losses and gone for the Hope solution. Costs a lot more, but if it lasts more than 6 months I’ll be no worse off!
