Best Saddle I’ve ever sat on by NaasACE, 15 August 2014, 3 out of 3 people found this review helpful I was always an Avocet saddle fan, but the SDG Bel Air has taken pride of place under my backside. I found it a bit hard at first as I still ride my mid-90’s Giant ATX every day for about 40-50 km and longer on weekends. Once I got the setup correct – after a number of adjustments and readjustments – I found this saddle to be perfect in both fit and form. As an elder rider I can really appreciate the “groove” as it allows the bits to almost float and forces me to sit correctly. i also found that my new (corrected?) body position has added a level of strength and endurance I didn’t realise was there. All in all a great saddle and I would highly recommend it to anyone who spends time on a non-suspension bike. I found this review helpful I did not find this review helpful
comfy good looking saddle by ricky52, 19 December 2016, 1 out of 1 people found this review helpful I had 2 SDG Bel airs on my previous bikes until they were stolen and I thought I would never be able to replace them with identical items.Luckily CRC had some in stock for my replacement (2nd hand)bike that i’m building up.Like most saddles they need some breaking in but after that I find them very comfy for the xc riding I do.Durability on my prev ones was fine but the seat rails need a wee bit of lube occasionally where they enter the cover to stop them squeaking Pros: kind to your rear Cons: none I found this review helpful I did not find this review helpful
