Used on a flat bar CX build. After sevral months of abuse it still works like new. I tried Cyclocross with my 2013 kahuna dl last winter (13-14) and got hooked. I decided to build a hybrid CX/mountain bike (at least in my head). The final set up is a mess, that some how came together like a Mozart symphony shifting flawlessly through the entire 2×10 gears. The set up Crankset Shimano CX-50 2×10 Cassette SRAM 11-34 10spd F der Shimano 105 R der Shimano MTB Deore 9spd SRAM 10spd chain (can’t remember the part#) Shifters Shimano Tiagra flat bar 2×10 BB Shimano 105 I have used this combination on MTB single track, gravel roads and paved roads. I have geared out my bike on flat and downhill paved sections, but most of my riding has been on gravel and single track in South Texas and Southern Arizona. So far I have no complains and friends that have taken it for a ride are flabbergasted by how well my mess of a drivetrain shifts! It’s a crank by Nicknamehayta, 4 December 2013, 8 out of 11 people found this review helpful Using this on a roadbike with a low ratio rear casette for commuting and general hacking about on lanes and bridleways. Sits nicely in price between Tiagra and 105 while more 105-ish in quality and construction. It will gear out quickly downhill, but if you aren’t racing or trying to keep up with anyone that’s not hugely important. I found this review helpful I did not find this review helpful
