Great 2 x upgrade by Simoninspain, 4 December 2014, 4 out of 4 people found this review helpful Used to upgrade another riders bike to 2 chain rings used with 9 speed chain and 9 speed saint rear mech. These rings work perfectly with the 9 speed shimano chain. A shimano 3 chain ring shifter can be adjusted to operate the dual rings. Upgraded a Giant Reign 2013 which was originally a 3 chain ring set up but was fitted with direct mount front shifter (thankfully). Low cost = low risk upgrade! Used for some seriouse all mountain riding the rider reports all positive results. Pros: economic 2 x upgrade will work with 9 speed shimano chain I found this review helpful I did not find this review helpful
