Here are just a couple of interesting reviews that we picked out from verified customers:

Expensive and Heavy but good Quality by Flangemungus, 8 May 2018, 71 out of 76 people found this review helpful The quality is very good….no question about that. It is wide but not long and I wanted more of the Trail element of fore and aft support for my foot, otherwise get an ordinary pedal with a wide base. Coming from a DX I was looking for a longer cage. I should have done my homework and got a Nukeproof Horizon but I thought the Shimano quality would be better. Quality is excellent but it is heavy and expensive. There are probably slightly better options out there now but if you want Shimano specifically then OK. I found this review helpful I did not find this review helpful

A little disappointed by TrailBlazer, 4 July 2018, 43 out of 43 people found this review helpful I am not one of those reviewers who, once having bought the product, ergo owns it….then feels that it must be fantastic. I have used Shimano SPDs since they emerged, in the mid nineties. The product is always good and reliable ( except for certain XTR pedals ) . Recently I have purchased Nukeproof Horizon pedals for my Freeride Hardtails, which are very good. They are a lighter pedal, both in weight and in action. I was looking forward to this new Shimano offering and bought it on reputation. Whilst there is no fault in the action or quality, I emphasise that, I feel that Shimano could have provided a little more fore/aft support and made the pedal lighter in weight and slicker in action. It is not a cheap pedal and when competing in the market place, it is important to out run the competition. In my opinion Shimano have not accomplished that. Pros: good build quality Cons: weight not enough fore/aft support action could be a litlle slicker I found this review helpful I did not find this review helpful
