The new metallic pads have great stopping power and smooth application and the bleeding process is very easy, even for a novice mechanic with Shimano’s bleed kit. I do get a bit of squeal from time to time that I did not get with the standard pads on the old caliper. Pros: replacing just the caliper saves money Cons: metallic pads are a little more noisy I found this review helpful I did not find this review helpful
