Surprised I don’t see more Di2 users using this by d34241, 27 May 2017, 4 out of 4 people found this review helpful At the time of review, the product image is incorrect, so please double check if reading this. This wireless unit is the inline one, not the frame mount one. fits great on my front brake cable. The app is pretty good, although it could be more user friendly. Connects to Garmin cycle computers easily. The unit didn’t allow me to connect to it via my phone until my bike shop updated the firmware. Expensive but a great bit of kit when you get it working by GusM2, 6 October 2017, 5 out of 6 people found this review helpful Bought my bike with Di2 but not wireless enabled. I discovered that although shifting was very smooth and precise with Di2, I was really missing a trick as I had to wire it up to my pc to update or change any settings and also it wouldn’t connect to my Garmin on the road which is surprisingly useful. (Google/youtube to find out why.) There were two snags – the first was the price and naturally you’ll need another “electric cable” at vast expense as well as this unit and the second was setting it up. The clips are a bit pathetic – I might end up taping it – I expect them to ping off on my first ride! The unit is tiny. It was very difficult to judge the size on the internet photos but you’d barely notice it once installed. About 40-45mm long and not much thicker at the widest point than a couple of brake cables. Installation was much more complicated than it should have been. I plugged it in, connected my phone, 60% through it failed! It took me the best part of six hours of swearing and a huge amount of trial and error to work out what to do. The instructions were near useless. What I’d recommend is first disconnecting unit A from all the other connections to your bike. Connect it to your pc using E-Tube project. Update it to the latest update. Connect this unit (EWWU111) with your new electric wire to the Unit A but nothing else. Connect to this via the E-tube project on your mobile phone. Update EWWU111 unit to the latest update. Finally connect everything else back to the Unit A and then you should be able to wirelessly update all the other components through this wireless unit and your phone. Pros: enables wireless updates to di2 components enables connection of di2 to garmin Cons: expensive instructions aren’t very helpful I found this review helpful I did not find this review helpful
