I’ve only used it once since upgrading, but it seems to change everso faster, certainly quieter. The mech is much less bulky than the 10 spd. It’s a shame though that shimano couldn’t have kept the software version that used to make it possible to use the 10 speed with the 11 speed rear shifter. Apart from that gripe, I can’t fault this front derailleur at all. Pros: quieter than 10 speed ultegra di2 less bulky than 10 speed seems to be quicker change than 10 spd Cons: cost to upgrade over 10 speed I found this review helpful I did not find this review helpful
Great piece of kit by Andrew118, 10 July 2018 Bought to replace an original unit which had seized up (not helped by an inexperienced mechanic at a sportive trying to fix it and making it worse). Very smooth shifting. Once you’ve tried Di2 you don’t want to return to mechanical shifting. Great price on sale and even better with the British Cycling Membership discount.
