Doesn’t disappoint by Anonymous, 29 March 2013, 10 out of 10 people found this review helpful Just a follow up after another 1.5 years on the same cassette: After 1 season in the mountains I was still able to put a new X9 chain on the cassette without skipping, which was awesome as the chain was worn out already. There is a lot of shifting on each ride as there are lots of up/down transitions. Next season was a long one and the new chain again started to fall apart near the end. The cassette would no longer accept a new chain after 2 seasons as the 13 and 15 tooth sprockets would skip (too bad they don’t sell those as spares). So then I kept patching up the old chain, finished the season and still rode the winter on this cassette without issues. Basically 2 full seasons in the mountains + 1 winter with lots of salt and dirt, and the cassette is still going. No broken teeth nor bends, and I put down quite a bit of power too (just a fact, not bragging). Now it is being retired for an indoor training wheel unless i can find less worn 13,15 tooth cogs and it will do another winter 🙂 If they ever stop selling these I will be devastated 😀 , I now have a new one lined up for the summer and just ordered a spare for good measure. Does the job and no bother fitting it by rotavator, 20 April 2017, 2 out of 2 people found this review helpful I bought this to increase the gear range on a B’Twin Triban 520 which came with 9 speed Sora gears. The cassette fitted on easily and it worked perfectly without needing to make any adjustments to the rear derailer. The only downside is the price and you can certainly get the same range of gears on much cheaper and slightly heavier cassettes. Pros: easily fitted and worked without adjustment Cons: price I found this review helpful I did not find this review helpful
