Great Upgrade For Price Range by Val403, 22 June 2015, 10 out of 10 people found this review helpful I upgraded to this BB from an x-type RF BB and will not be looking back. Shimano BBs are always a sure bet and this is no exception. The BB offers a very precise crank shaft fit and doesn’t require any dust caps or extra junk to keep it spinning smoothly. The BB is designed to be essentially plug-and-play with no preloading required and comes supplied with spacers and a BB tool adapter. The BB is not serviceable (to my knowldge) but is fitting for it’s price point. Note: I’ll knock off one star because CRC did not mention that the BB cup was smaller than other Shimano BBs. There is an adapter that is supplied with the BB but it is not precise enough for some higher-end tools such as Pedros BB cup remover. Pros: smooth spinning plug-and-play tool adapter provided light weight Cons: inconsistent cup design I found this review helpful I did not find this review helpful
