Bearings & seals not up to the job by BordersKai2, 14 May 2018, 1 out of 1 people found this review helpful I bought these because I was suffering too many pedal / shoe strikes due to a low bottom bracket on the bike. To some extent they have helped to reduce this (although a switch from old style Five Ten Impacts to new Freerider Pros has made a bigger difference). The platform takes a bit of getting used to, but is good and the pins grip well. Overall, the pedals look good and the quality ‘seems’ to be good too. However, after less than 5 months the bearing has gone on the drive side (right) pedal. When I’ve opened it up, there’s a lot of muck inside. I’ve had much cheaper pedals that have been significantly more reliable than this. Also, trying to buy replacement bearings isn’t easy as it seems that nobody in the UK (including CRC) stocks them. In hindsight, I wish that I had bought something else. Pros: profile & size easy to service (which is just as well) Cons: cost poor bearings that don’t last may take a bit of getting used to I found this review helpful I did not find this review helpful
