Here are just a couple of interesting reviews that we picked out from verified customers:
Don’t use this with a hope alloy freehub by Anonymous, 16 October 2011, 7 out of 9 people found this review helpful I bought one of these cassettes and fitted with a new chain approximately 6 months ago. Within a couple of rides I noticed that the cassette was rattling slightly and on removing it noticed that it had dug some large gouges into the alloy casstte body on my hope hub. Now I agree that an alloy cassette body isn’t the best idea, but the design of this cassette (plastic spacers between the rings) means that there is only a very small contact area between cassette and freehub. The freehub damage would not have occurred to anywhere near the same extent with a cassette where the majority of the larger sprockets are in a one piece unit, like the shimano cassetes. Secondly, after 6 months use the middle four rings of the cassette were completely worn out. The cassette was only used through spring and summer and i rode fewer miles than usual over this time – I have got four chains worth (2 years) out of cheap shimano cassettes in the past with the same frequency of chain replacement. So overall a disappointment. Maybe worth it if you’re a racer and saving 100g is worth å£20 over a basic unit and you’re very tight on you’re service intervals. And you don’t have a hope hub… Back to cheap shimano ones for me… does exactly what it says on the tin! I found this review helpful I did not find this review helpful
