Here are just a couple of interesting reviews that we picked out from verified customers:
As good as original by DrPat, 31 January 2016, 6 out of 6 people found this review helpful If you ride a MTB you will eventually need to replace the bottom bracket. This is a “press fit” design. Getting the old one out needs a special, expensive, tool (you can make one yourself from a 20mm thin walled pipe). You also need a special, expensive, tool to install the new one. But again you can make one yourself using a 3/4 inch threaded bar and large washers. End point is this bottom bracket works as advertised and isn’t particularly expensive. Google how to install it and watch lots of Youtube videos. Pros: good price once installed works well Cons: needs specialist tool to remove the old one needs specialist tool to install the new one I found this review helpful I did not find this review helpful
Decent enough quality for the money by Canyonrider, 30 January 2017, 3 out of 3 people found this review helpful Very easy to fit with a press-fit tool. Not the best weather-proofing for a BB but given the price, it’s not the end of the world if it needs changing after a couple of years riding. Once installed they run smoothly from the off – not stiff initial spinning as with some BB’s. I’ve had to remove, re-grease and re-install after 6 months use, but that is more a comment on press-fit BB’s in general! Overall, solid enough for the price.
