Tried, Tested and Reviewed for you by CRC Customer Services by CRCReviews, 24 November 2017, 5 out of 5 people found this review helpful You may not think sealant is he most complicated of products but there is a degree of thought and consideration that needs to be balanced. Stans has introduced an alternative Race formula alongside their standard offering. The Race sealant has been out on the trails for some time with competitive race teams and is now ready for release. The Race sealant has been formulated to seal larger holes quicker and therefore minimize air loss. This has been achieved by increasing both the size and amount of crystals in the mix. This does mean you cannot install sealant via the valve as it will clog. So why not use this sealant all the time you ask? Compared to the standard sealant and due to the fast sealing nature of the formula it needs to be replaced more often, 6 months compared to 7 months. This is not too bad considering it is raced focused and racers will replace tyres much more often in this time. I have used the sealant with Schwalbe Magic Mary, Nobby Nic, Rock Razor and Michelin Force XC tyres. All have had the distinctive tubeless tyre fizz of a puncture/slice. All you can say is the sealant simply works. The largest slice IÛªve had would be roughly 7mm and it sealed with little fuss and air loss. The sealant is more effective at sealing larger holes/slices. If you are racing and need a punctured sealed as soon as possible to keep in the mix you canÛªt get much better than the Race Sealant I found this review helpful I did not find this review helpful
