Great when used with stans no tubes tape and ztr grail rims by Mbk12, 3 April 2016, 2 out of 2 people found this review helpful Used in conjunction with stans ztr grail 28 hole rims on a gravel bike. Grail rims were tubeless ready which means you need to spend extra on stans no tubes sealant, tubeless tyres (schwalbe pro one), stans rim tape & the no tubes presta valves. Pretty easy set up. Wrap the rim tape around the rims (twice). Use a sharp knife to make a X incision in the rim tape and insert the valve. Replace the tyre on the rim & using stans valve core remover & injector then insert 2oz stans sealant into the tyre. Replace valve core. Using track pump inflate tyre to around 100 psi, wait for the ‘pop’ and the tyre should be seated on the rim. Rotate tyre to disperse fluid around tyre & hopefully no more punctures!!! Should eventually be cheaper than replacement inner tubes!!! Pros: good idea and work Cons: the other stans products required to run tubeless! Makes sealant top-ups a breeze! by BelgianExpress, 4 March 2015, 2 out of 2 people found this review helpful I’ve set up multiple wheel-sets with these valves and never had an issue. Even worked perfectly on a set of non-tubeless road rims and 25mm non-tubeless tires that I road all summer. Top-ups are a breeze as you simply unscrew the top of the valve and inject more sealant as required. Great product! Yes it’s a bit pricy, but you’ll quickly recover the cost when you don’t have to replace tubes. Pros: high quality product easy to use I found this review helpful I did not find this review helpful
