Here are just a couple of interesting reviews that we picked out from verified customers:
Great Pedal by Vrykolakas27, 24 June 2014, 9 out of 9 people found this review helpful I’ve only been riding XC for just over a year, and recently decided to step into the DH world, too. I purchased an Norco Aurum and was looking for something to stick on it that was going to be strong, grippy and suitable for wide shoes, in replace of the stock pedals that came on the Aurum. From a rider who is less experienced, these pedals seem really strong. I put them on and took them for a spin, and my feet never budged once. I wear Nike cross-trainers that get good coverage from the pedal width. They are extremely easy to service and maintain. The instruction manual explains how to grease them very easily. It literally took me 10-20 minutes to disassemble both pedals, grease them, and put them back together, plus they have self-lubricating bearings. If you’re worried about price, I’ll say this…If you purchase a bike in the medium-high end range, why would you put a $20 set of pedals on a 6K bike? In my opinion, they are worth the money. Time will tell how they hold up as I advance in my riding. As for weight, I can’t comment as I don’t really have any need for specific weight pedals. Fantastic. by mick141, 3 February 2015, 4 out of 4 people found this review helpful I first bought these about 5 years ago, in blue and now run them on all my bikes. They have a big grippy platform, the standard pins are more than enough with my five tens, have one scar on my shin where they bit me. The bushing are easy to replace and the anodising is tough. There used to be a video on the Straitline website showing them replacing the bushings with a biro and running a pedal over with a road roller, don’t know if it’s still there, but worth a look. These pedals are tough and reliable. I found this review helpful I did not find this review helpful
