This product is not fit for purpose until TACX resolve problems by Baxter77, 12 March 2018, 17 out of 19 people found this review helpful After less than 300km trainer started making horrible creaking and screeching sounds. Sent back under warranty.. however CRC want nothing to do with the problems and passed fmdirect to TACX. I have been without a trainer and no compensation offered after more than 4 weeks! Appalling product/service in my view. I found this review helpful I did not find this review helpful

Hit ‘n’ Miss by iamclm, 17 April 2018, 7 out of 7 people found this review helpful Initial thoughts of this was its pretty cool- being that its my first try of a ‘smart direct drive’ turbo trainer. I used it 4 times- using Tacx own software and Zwift. The trainer is easy to set up and install- I had to get an adapter to fit my mountain bikes 148mm axle. This was a pain to get hold of, but I managed to get it direct from Tacx for a small fortune. However- once the bikes on the trainer and set up- its good. I find traditional turbo training really boring, so this was a refreshing change. I used it for 25 min interval sessions and found I could have carried on (mentally)- despite my legs quivering. The tacx software is a bit buggy and glitchy- one day it took ages to connect to my bluetooth on my phone, and the app decided to keep restarting which hugely messes up your flow and concentration. So tacx def need to do some work here. However with Zwift the trainer worked really well. The trainer is quiet enough to be used in doors without disturbing anyone- its stable, but not particularly mobile. Resistance is good and the ability to change on the go is great. However- after 4 rides I experienced ‘black dust’ coming out the air vent. A quick google of the Tacx Flux displays numerous issues surrounding manufacturing and faults. This is one of them- so sadly its been returned to Chain Reaction… it lasted around a week. This si not good enough and quite honestly it has destroyed my faith in Tacx as a brand. As a result I cannot recommend this product to anyone. Pros: quiet stable price Cons: faulty adapters needed does not fit long cage derailleur mountain bikes.
