Useless on a short steerer tube by majikstone, 11 October 2016, 1 out of 1 people found this review helpful Unfortunately, I couldn’t have used it as it needed at least 2-3 cm of spacers underneath in order for it to not hit the headtube. As my steerer tube was cut rather short and it was impossible for me to add the necessary number of spacers, I had to throw it away and replace it with a fork mounted cable hanger (the Tektro one). I find it a bit odd that you cannot possibly mount it directly on top of the headset, at least not on a 1 1/8″ steerer on a frame with an internal headset. Cons: will hit the head tube unless you add many spacers I found this review helpful I did not find this review helpful
