If your going to leave it on and just use it for commutes its perfect by bfallon, 16 October 2013, 3 out of 3 people found this review helpful if you want to whip it on and off for different styles of riding forget about it, its flimsy to fit, never gets tight enough and has so many moving parts its just a waste of your time. The pin if you try to get a good tighten on the ratcheted system, falls out, if you don’t want to whip your seat post out to fit it, you have to unwind a plastic clip and then feed the strap back in and then tighten it making sure you don’t bend it back or it will pop out again….like I said, if your gonna fit it and your leaving it on, buy it, if your not going to leave it on and want something that’s not gonna fall down on trails etc.. don’t buy it I found this review helpful I did not find this review helpful
Disappointing by Anonymous, 28 May 2012, 4 out of 5 people found this review helpful Used this for the first time on a long XC ride and ended up throwing it away as it was ruining a nice descent. I’d already stopped 3 times to try and get it tight enough to stay in place and then it just fell off so I threw it over the nearest wall. This is down to the ratchet attachment system which is poor, a good idea in theory but in practice its a right faff to get it tight. A simple bolt would have been fine. Maybe ok on a hardtail but on my full sus. the back wheel kept catching and knocking it out of place. I found this review helpful I did not find this review helpful
