Here are just a couple of interesting reviews that we picked out from verified customers:

Great reliable bottom bracket for the average rider by MartinV, 7 January 2014, 7 out of 7 people found this review helpful I don’t understand why some reviewers have got so little mileage out of these BBs (variations in manufacturing quality?) or complain about value. Speaking personally, I have got through three of these now over an eight year period of fairly heavy lake district MTB use, so no complaints. I ‘upgraded’ one of my bikes recently to a Shimano hollowtech system but I wish I hadn’t bothered! Admittedly it was only a budget BB51, but it failed after about four months riding and I didn’t notice any difference in performance or power transmission over and above powerspline. Some reviewers baulk at the cost of powerspline, but do the maths: Replacing powerspline BBs (bought via CRC) has cost me, on average, about å£20 a year. Replacing hollowtech BB’s at current wear rate will cost me an estimated å£35 a year (and the tools are more expensive) . Have just bought a hope ‘hollowtech’ BB (yet to be fitted), but even assuming I get three years out of the stainless bearings they will still cost me an average of at least å£10 a year, plus the cost of bearing tools/workshop fees. On this basis powerspline gives fair value for money and is way more durable than bottom end hollowtech. Pros: cheap and durable Cons: not hope I found this review helpful I did not find this review helpful

How long will this one last? by Thorno58, 13 August 2013, 3 out of 3 people found this review helpful On my 3rd bottom bracket now. They don’t seem to last much longer than a year. I now have the tool so can save money fitting my own. Last one cost me å£65 fitted. Much cheaper this time round. @ å£20 it’s a cheap fix. Would’ve nice if they lasted a little longer. Many thanks to crc for great price and super fast service. Pros: cheap Cons: don’t seem to last. quality? I found this review helpful I did not find this review helpful
