Overpriced, feels cheap by Hillrider83, 17 September 2015, 1 out of 2 people found this review helpful I was looking for a simple, high-quality rain jacket for my daily commute and occasional weekend rides through the hills. This jacket looked like it ticked most boxes, and for the price I thought it was a fairly safe bet. However, upon receiving it, it doesn’t live up to expectations at all. The material feels really cheap, I have a similar hiking rain jacket made from the exact same cheap polyester / rainproof material that cost less than half the price of the Vaude. While the fit is right around the chest, the arms are unbelievably baggy. I’m a fairly proportionate person, and the arms just don’t fit at all. There’s no way of tightening them either as they flail about in the wind letting rain creep up your arms. Wouldn’t recommend. If it was half the asking price, it would perhaps get a pass mark. Pros: quality zips / seals fit around body fit around body Cons: arms ridiculously baggy no means of tightening cuffs feels cheap doesn’t breathe well I found this review helpful I did not find this review helpful
