Here are just a couple of interesting reviews that we picked out from verified customers:

Top quality smart trainer by Paincaver, 19 November 2017, 9 out of 9 people found this review helpful Extremely well built trainer that is far quieter than its big brother the Kickr (you hear only the drivetrain sound), this lovely little machine really exceeded my expectations. The only real “drawback” compared to the far more costly Kickr is, of course, that it’s a wheel-on type rather than direct drive. In reality (assuming that having an extra wheel or an extra bike for turbo-only use is not a problem to you) the only real difference vs a direct drive type is that you need to calibrate it pre- each workout but this takes literally two minutes so it’s a non-issue in fact. I had been ready to buy a Tacx Flux but the persisting anecdotes of poor quality, even in the most recent models, made me decide on a Kickr. After reading review after review (see also Aaron Johnson or Shane Miller on YouTube who rave about this thing) it became clear that here was the king of wheel-on smart trainers and, having used it for a while, I have no reason to doubt it. The only comparisons I can draw are my previous CycleOps Fluid2 (a nice dumb trainer but several leagues below the Snap) and a mate’s Tacx Neo which I had a few shots on to see what the ERG hysteria was all about. The Snap, if I was blindfolded, feels very similar to the Neo in terms of the flywheel inertia and general feel/noise level. Seems like the Snap is incredibly good value then, and I’m well pleased with my purchase decision which saved me over å£100 over the Flux (which by the way has the same max wattage as the Snap but an inferior gradient simulation). In ERG mode on Trainerroad, the Snap holds the wattage of each interval to within 1 watt and the transitions are smooth, thanks to the big flywheel. I have no reason to dispute its claimed 3% accuracy rating although as I don’t have a power meter it’s somewhat academic. The important thing for me is that it’s consistent and, as I understand it, that requires only that I keep tyre pressure consistent and do a spindown calibration each time I use it. For the record I use it with an Android phone and Garmin HR and cadence sensors. Thoroughly recommended. I found this review helpful I did not find this review helpful

Does what it says on the tin by ChristophH, 6 November 2017, 1 out of 1 people found this review helpful Difficult to say anything which hasn’t already been said. Would love it to have been half the price But Imho Lots of fun when coupled with zwift. No issues with power rating or spin down.
