Excellent for 29″ 2.5 Minions by Reini, 5 May 2017, 5 out of 7 people found this review helpful I’m using this rim for the front wheel on my Kona Honzo. I mounted it on a WTB Laserdisc hub, used DT Swiss tubeless tape (27mm width because that was what I had at Hand) and Stans notubes fluid. The Maxxis Minion DHF 2.5 TR aired up nicely, settled immediately, and remained inflated from the start. I’ve never had a more hazzlefree tubeless experience. My previous rim on that bike was a WTB ST i23. I haven’t had enough time on the new Setup to notice substantial differences in ride feel and/or stiffness. Lacing the rim to the hub was easy after a short email Exchange with the Folks at WTB, who sent me a guide how to deal with the 4.5mm asymmetrical Offset. Thanks Guys! Strong, Simple, Efficient by Vilgrim, 8 July 2017 These are cheap, strong wheels that get the job done. If I have once criticism it is that the sticker come off easily but as far as a rock solid rim goes this thing is perfect. The width also makes my preferred 2.4″ tyres site nicely.
