obviously large volume, absolute bobbins in the damp by padded, 21 September 2017, 1 out of 2 people found this review helpful just look at it. yeah, a lot cheaper than maxxis offerings, but if you buy this thinking you’ll save money ( like i did ), then i see some maxxis tyres in your future as soon as anything gets wet. not too bad to mount, did require a pedros trye lever, but get the bead in the centre, do the valve LAST, and getting the last bit on is just a case if working it over the rim bit by bit. inflated easily with a track pump on wtb scraper rims with wtb tape ( poorly fitted ) and joes no flats valves. transformation by macsrevenge, 10 July 2017 have been running the 26+ version on the front of my Rune for the last few rides. quite amazing the transformation in the bike, more grip, more cushioning, more fun. confidence inspiring. have come from a Vigilante and was expecting the recent wet ride to be the plus tyre’s undoing but was able to pick better lines and keep speed better through the muck than even before. far less arm pump too. on 32mm rims have run as low as 8psi without issue and safely fit a 26″ 2015 Pike. noticeable autosteer on tarmac but that’s not really what this tyre is all about. planning to fit to the rear as well, expecting a bit of a slog uphill but if the rear end is transformed as much as the front, will be worth it. I mainly ride natural trails in Scotland. Pros: confidence inspiring 26″ available great cushioning great grip surprisingly good in the wet Cons: have to run much lower than recommended psi drag may be an issue on the rear I found this review helpful I did not find this review helpful
