fussy floppy anoying by parkesy, 30 October 2015, 6 out of 6 people found this review helpful this mudguard seemed like a good idea , however one set of the fittings was too short the other too long for my giant xtc carbon frame . It was fiddly and fussy to fit and when eventually fitted would have flopped about over rough ground , coverage was also poor . A good idea but a poor design. Pros: none for me Cons: poor fit poor designe inadequate fitting kit poor coverage floppy I found this review helpful I did not find this review helpful

Engineering fault by SergeBoy, 5 March 2016, 5 out of 5 people found this review helpful There are some complications with seattube mounted rear fenders on full sus. They have to stay high from rear wheel, comprise visibility of rear light if seat tube mounted, or interfere with dropper seat post. So this fender looks like a good idea. On the photo. It is mounted to the seatstays and stays reasonably near to rear wheel to catch drips and mud. Huge design flaw of this fender is it mounting system. It puts fender position as function of chainstay vertical angle. For larger vertical angles of hardtails fender’s position is ok as well as wheel coverage (as seen on the picture). Much lower chainstay angles of modern full sus bikes put this fender into much forwarder position. It covers more front part of the wheel (unnecessary) but partially exposes rear part of wheel. I’ve Scott Scale with 27.5 wheels, and this fender for 29″ wheels failed to provide full coverage. Every time my jersey’s back was dirty after ride when wet. Had to do ghetto fender extension. Additional 7 cm on the rear solved coverage problem. Pros: manufacturing quality is good attaches firmly to multiple diameters Cons: doesn’t suit bikes with lower chain stays designers should’ve better studied geometry I found this review helpful I did not find this review helpful
